OK - so here I am going through my day begging to God for peace, patience, and whatever I need at the moment without so much as a quick 10 minute quiet time. Well, that stops now and you - my readers will be my accountability. I need that I think - I just havn't had that for a while. I had the best group of girls in Alabama who held me accoutable and then also in Bowling Green - but here for some reason - nothing - YET....I say yet because I do feel like God will bring those people into my life at some point, but right now He really wants me to figure some things out - I am not sure what at the current, however, I honestly believe that if I get my booty into the WORD then He will be faithful to show Himself - so here we go - I think I will go through the Psalms this month and go from there -

Psalm 16 - Written by David, this Psalm talks about the great things that comes from a life lived WITH God...
God gives us:
1. Safety
2 Refuge
3. Good things
4. Wisdom to know what is wrong/right
5 Free will to do right
6, Inheritance
7 Blessings
8. Guidence
9. Instruction
10. Compainionship
11. Strength
12. JOY!!!!
13. Rest
14. An eternity with HIM
All of that was just in one Psalm - those are just a few of what GOD gives us freely. Sometimes I get so caught up in my circumstances. I get to bogged down with my everyday ho-hum tasks that sometimes I resent my life as a stay at home mom - I sometimes get so overwelmed with my kids and the daily grind that I foreve every single item on that list. I forget that God gives me wisdom to get through a tough day stuck inside with two little ones, companionship with I feel lonley, REST when I feel as though I can't do ONE MORE TANTRUM, guidence to raise my children, and those are just a few of a HUGE list of things. I just forget to tap into that God power and think I can do it all by myself - I can't. Simply put - I can not do it alone - I may THINK I can for a while - but in the end I am reminded of how MUCH I need Him.
